Shoot 9-Enfield
Plans for shoot
For this shoot I wanted to be able to show an area where there was a combination of both rural and urban area. So i thought that Enfield in North London would be an interesting place to take these photographs as i know that certain areas have destruction or haven't been taken care of properly. I plan to do this shoot from two perspectives, one from the outside and then from inside a house looking out of a window, as the house is in the same area i thought it would be interesting to see what the area i am photographing looks like from the inside, and i could use the window for framing. However I'm not too sue if i would be able to see the exact same area that i will photograph from the outside, due to the position of the house and other houses being in the way, given that, i would still be able to portray how inner city housing is so cramped together that the only thing that is visible from a window is another house due to over housing.

Photos that need improving

With reference to straight images
I took this photo so that i could convey how crammed inner city housing is. However due to the framing of the photo i captured the very edge of the window, which distracts the viewers from the photo and what i wanted to try and convey through the photo. However i think that if i had this black smudge around both sides of the photo then it would have been more like a vignette effect, effectively showing off the centre of the photo more. So to improve this photo i could edit it so that i purposefully have a vignette effect, or i could try and crop out as much of the black smudge as possible.
